What3Words provides an innovative way to identify specific locations on a map by using a combination of three words instead of traditional coordinates (latitude and longitude). This method divides the world into a grid of 3m x 3m squares, each assigned a unique set of words that serve as an address for that exact location.

We use the What3words system when setting the company address via the your details tab in the preferences and also when editing/creating a new site and inputting address details. See screenshot below:

While What3Words offers a simpler alternative to the traditional coordinate system, the standard latitude and longitude system is still fully supported. This means you can continue using coordinates if preferred, and you can choose whether to use What3Words as an optional feature, depending on your needs.
