WorkPal is specifically designed with battery efficiency in mind, ensuring that it operates smoothly without placing a significant strain on your device’s power consumption. It has been optimized to run effectively on both Android and iOS devices, allowing use throughout the workday, without worrying about excessive battery drain. However, while WorkPal is optimized to be energy-efficient, it's always a good idea to carry a portable battery pack or charger as a backup, especially during long workdays or when you're away from a power source.
You can check the battery usage from the WorkPal app by following the steps below;
For Android Devices:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Battery or Battery & device care (this may vary based on the manufacturer).
- Select Battery usage or Usage details to access a breakdown of apps consuming power.
- Tap any app to view additional details, such as background usage.
For iPhone (iOS):
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Battery.
- In the Battery Usage by App section, you’ll see the power consumption percentages for each app.
- Tap Last 24 Hours or Last 10 Days to view usage trends over time.
Tips to Minimise Battery Drain While Using WorkPal:
- ✅ Lower Screen Brightness: Reducing screen brightness helps save power.
- ✅ Use WIFI Instead of Mobile Data: Wi-Fi consumes less battery than mobile data.
- ✅ Close Unnecessary Background Apps: Shut down apps not in use to conserve power.
- ✅ Keep Your App & Device Updated: Ensure both the app and your operating system are up-to-date for maximum efficiency.
